Information you provide
The contact form uses a mailto-based workflow. Information entered in the form—such as your name, email address, telephone number, matter type, names supplied for a conflict review, and a brief summary—remains in your browser while the website prepares a draft. The website does not itself transmit, retain, or store those entries.
When you select “Open Email Draft,” the website asks your email application to create a message addressed to Huang Law. Nothing is sent automatically. If you choose to send the draft, your email application and email provider will process the message, Huang Law's email provider will receive it, and Huang Law may retain it as an email communication. You may also provide information when you contact Huang Law directly by telephone or email.
Please send only a brief, non-confidential summary. Preparing or sending a draft does not create an attorney-client relationship, and information sent before representation is confirmed in writing may not be treated as confidential.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, the hosting provider may create ordinary server logs when you visit. Those logs may include an Internet Protocol address, browser and device information, requested pages, referring page, and the date and time of a request. They are used to deliver, secure, maintain, and troubleshoot the website.
This site currently requests its typefaces from Google Fonts. When your browser makes that request, Google may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser information, and the referring page. Google's handling of that information is governed by its own policies.
How information may be used
If you choose to send an email or otherwise contact Huang Law, the information received may be used to:
- respond to an inquiry and conduct an initial conflict review;
- evaluate whether Huang Law can consider a requested engagement;
- operate, protect, maintain, and improve the website;
- detect misuse, diagnose technical issues, and preserve security; and
- comply with legal and professional obligations.
Sharing and service providers
Huang Law does not sell personal information. The website host may process ordinary server-log information. Google receives the limited technical request described above when Google Fonts loads. If you choose to send an email, the email providers used by you and Huang Law will process that message. Information actually received by Huang Law may also be disclosed to vendors supporting limited functions such as email delivery, security, or technical maintenance, subject to appropriate restrictions, or when required by law, to protect legal rights or safety, or in connection with a professional-responsibility obligation.
Retention and security
The website does not retain contact-form entries. The hosting provider may retain ordinary server logs according to its operational and security practices. If you choose to send an email, Huang Law may retain the received message only for as long as reasonably necessary for conflict-check, legal, professional, security, and recordkeeping needs. The period may vary depending on the information and why it was received.
Huang Law uses reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the nature of information it actually receives. A static mailto workflow is not a secure intake portal, and no website, email, or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. Do not include confidential, privileged, or highly sensitive information in the form or ordinary email.
Cookies and similar technologies
This site currently uses no analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or marketing trackers. A cookie-consent banner is therefore not currently needed for those technologies. If analytics, advertising tools, embedded media, or other tracking technologies are added, this policy and the need for a consent mechanism must be reviewed before they are enabled.
Third-party services and links
This website may link to third-party websites or services. Huang Law does not control their privacy or security practices. Review the privacy notices of those third parties before providing information to them.
Policy updates
This policy may be revised to reflect changes to the website, practices, or legal requirements. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when a revision is posted.
